otis
Where does everyone look for eyes this time of year? What is your favorite early ice structure?

Jim Uran
Find a feeding flat, and find the best edge off of it. Look for weeds on the edge of the drop, or a little bit sharper drop. Those are what I look for. You can set up at the top of the drop or at the bottom.

Sniper07
Last year (my first ice year) I was told to try the gps marks I had from my fall walleye fishing for first ice. Then as the weeds died off (lack of oxygen) and the eyes went deeper I looked for them. It took a few try's but I was able to get on them again. JeffB
Looked in the freezer last night, all I found was fish sticks. I'll need another week of cold weather before I venture any further. Then I will hit the flat closest to my cabin till there is at least 8" of ice. I'm not to adventurous on early ice so not many hot tips here. Good luck.
