Nils auger-----Worth it?

Even though the advertised wieght is 2-3 lbs difference, they feel like more 5lbs or so when handling them. The Nils is also easier to drill with, less torque on arms/hands. Like others have stated the cost margin now days is getting closer on the augers and replacement blades.

IMO the real beauty is the Tanaka motor. I can't say enough good things about the motor, unlike my bad expirences with the old Tecumseh motors. I have not had a lick of trouble with the Tanaka and that puts a smile on my face.

Yes one can find deals on used augers too..theres nothing wrong with a chipper blade.
