Legal or not

I was just sitting here daydreaming about new ice and ice spears. Would it be legal to spear with one of those rubber band type spear guns that divers use. It would also be neat to try and use a bowfishing rig. Anyone know the answer? It wont be long!!!

BR I was told that the bowfishing rig is illeagle and I would suspect the same holds for the divers spear but that would be cool to try the speargun.

Bowfishing is definately out. Unless you are outside and shooting carp. For pike, it is a traditional spear only.
