canvas craft insulated otter cover??

Has anybody seen the new insulated canvas craft cover. I see the advdertise them with cover and poles, I wonder if they just sell the cover for my otter magnum. any info would be appreciated

I have used and own a CC insulated portable. Greta portable to say the least.

I do believe that you would need to also purchase the poles also. I had a friend that just purchased the cover for his Otter and it did not fit. This was a few years ago but the CC cover is a bit different in size than the Otter cover.

I would give Matt in Rogers at CC a call to see if it will fit.

I have 2 canvis craft "insulated"portables and had them put a cover on one of my suit case type style houses. Definately a quality cover if it does fit. If not sell the otter and get a CC for christmas

they emailed me back.there covers wont fit with otter poles, so i am looking at 600 for a insulated cover and new poles. It allways seems i end up fishing in sub zero temps with wind. I have had lots of days where my heater cooker wont keep up. I am thinking the insulated may be worth it

I have a CC insulated and they are a very warm house. If you are into staying warm, get it and I would bet you will be a happy warm fisherman.

If you want to save some money, try putting some Reflectix on the ceiling of your Otter. You'd be suprised how much difference it will make. Only cost you about $30 and takes about 30 minutes cut and install.

My guess is that Otter will have an insulated version for next season. Suprised they did not come out with one this year.

I second the reflectix. I installed that in my Team Wild 3, and it keeps it a whole lot warmer. Well worth it.

I once did the reflectix on a Clam portable and it really did help alot and it was not that expensive to do.

I do believe the CC insulated is a bit warmer. Their pole system is also one of the easiest I have ever used in the 5 different portables I have owned.

is there pole system any different than the otter poles? they look like they are a round pole. I dont like the square poles otter have now.

Yes, round poles and they slide like nothing I have ever seen. I do believe the square poles are stronger and less likely to bend though.
