tacklejunkie
I came into ownership of about 15 of these. Anybody use them and how well do they work for walleye?
0 Chef
If they hit stimps or a rock you'll have to re-tune them to swim straight. I gave all of mine away. The Shad Rap is the Bomb.

0 MN Mike
Wally Divers are one of my ' go to ' cranks on lake of the woods, they work very well, I tend to use the bigger ones.I've used them on some of the local lakes in my area and they catch all sorts of fish.Nothing wrong with them!Mike
0 Northlander
I have a bunch of them and they work very well. Never had a problem with them coming out of tune. Work great up here in the St. Louis River and area lakes. The new jointed are one of my favorites.

I've had zero issues with tuning after my Shad Raps hit rocks and the Cordell's in my experience have been a problem. I'd rather fish than tune a lure or wonder if my preentation isn't in the strike zone.I just prefer to use Rapala for the little amount of crank pulling I do. It would be interesting to get some side-by-side statistics of catch rates comparing the Shad Rap to other cranks and see which one wins. 0 crothmeier
i have various sizes and colors, and have done fairly well with them. i have way more raps in the box that usually get the first nod though.
0 solbes
For some reason, lures kind of go through phases for me. I've had a year or two where the Wally Diver was really hot. Other years I've had only a couple of fish with them. I've had my best luck with the 1/4 and 3/8 oz sizes with the deep lip. Chrome/black, Chrome/blue, and Perch have all been pretty good to me for pike, bass, and walleye. I had a chrome/black Magnum (large one) that I lost on a cast. Never caught anything for me anyway.I wouldn't compare it to a Shad Rap. It's Rapala counterpart is probably the Tail Dancer, which can be really hot at times too.
