what to do with butchered carcass?

I have a deer that I butchered myself and I live in the metro. What do I do with the carcass? Please tell me there's an approach that doesn't involve red tape, the PCA, or other bureaucratic hurdles. Thanks.

Most sanitation companies will take carcasses as long as they are disposed of to their guidelines. I would call the sanitation department or the company that is contracted and just ask them. Usually its as simple as putting it in a black plastic bag and labeling it.

Just cut the carcass into 3 pieces or so and put into heavy (or two) plastic bags and put out for the garbage collector. Just don't get each bag too heavy.

I've occasionally hung the rib cage in a tree for the birds to eat through the winter. Of course you have to live in a somewhat private area to do this without upsetting the neighbors.
