paceman
The long range forcast is predicting lows around 40 and highs in the mid 50's. I hope they are wrong. IMO the deer don't like the warm weather either and don't move as much.....
TrophyEyes
I am more worried about the rain out west this week. If they don't get the corn out then we are not going to see much no matter what the temp is.
hound32
ya 50's would not be good imo. hopefully that is wrong and a little snow will fall.
delta dude
Rain and wind will shut movement down more than 50 temps. Deer probably will move right at dawn and just before sunset, If its warm I would look to swamps or creek bottums as it will be cooler there. JIvers
The deer like warmer weather just fine--problem is, warmer weather makes it easier for them to move around after dark when they feel safer. Moving around in colder weather requires more energy, so it is better in cold spells for deer to bed up at night and move during the day when it is not so cold. That's why hunting is better during cold snaps.
