Thanks, guys! We have around 120-150 acres of corn left in the field, but it will have to wait. Over an inch of rain again this week. Spent the afternoon yesterday in the drizzle watching a cross country meet. It was my middle daughter's last meet of her high school career. This was the coldest and wettest cross country season since my girls started running.

On the bright side, we have had time to start planning a possible trip to Fontana in the spring.

Were you at the Section meet in Adrian? My son runs junior high and was there as a spectator. Agreed, it was not always the funnest to be a spectator this year.

Yep, I was there. He runs for Redwood Valley? Their coach can be insane!

Our kids ran in Alexandria this year, so they let parents ride the bus as well. Most of us stayed on the bus until our kids ran...30 degrees with snow, and a 20 degree windchill. That was the most brutal one. The others were tolerable.

Yep. It drizzled the whole time I was out there, and started to rain about 10 minutes after the girls finished their race. I had my camera tucked inside my jacket to help protect it, and took it out only when our kids were coming by. Didn't get great shots at this meet, but it gives a pretty good idea of what the kids run through.
