LP gas lights

I'm planning on installing some Humphrey LP gas lights in the house. My house is 6.5 X 14. I'm not sure how many lights I will need. For those of you that use these lights I was curious how many you use for the size of house you have, and what your suggestion would be for a house my size. Thanks.

I have an 8'x16' and I have 3 lights in mine. I placed the 2 on one side about 2' from each end and the single one on the opposite wall somewhat centered. It is really bright in there with all 3 running. Kicks out a ton of heat also.

Im not sure how the Gas lights work, but does anyone know if you can use a dimmer switch on them? Meaning when fishing in shallow water you dont want to have the light come through the holes but would still like to have some light in the house.

No dimmer switch you just turn down the gas valve for less light. They are basically like the old colman lanterns but they are permanently attached and plumbed. The only disadvantage to these is when you move the mantle often gets ruined, but thats an easy cheap fix.

Thanks, that's what I wanted to know. I ordered three of them.
