Pflueger Patriarch Reels

I plan on buying a new one this winter.( Haven't decided on the 6.4 or the 7.1 ratio yet!) My question is wether to go with the wide spool version, or the narrow one. I haven't been able to compare the two side by side yet so was wondering what your impute was. My main reels are the Team Diawa 103's.

The patriarch looks like its a really nice real but know 2 people who cant dial them in like there revo's and curados. They cants seem to cast the Pflueger as far as the others. If your mind is set on that reel I would go with 6.4 ratio. Its a good all around ratio

I love the high speed reels!

I have the Presidents in both the wide spool and the normal spool. I like the wide spool because it fits better in my hands. It pretty much is a feel thing for the most part. There is some differences, but probably not much for the average rube. I agree with Tonka on the high speed reels. I have the Pflueger Summit and I prefer that reel to all of the other Pfluegers I have.

How about that snow?
