I realized this might be last reasonably nice day with still some birds in the area, so I had to get out and enjoy it. After seeing the flock of bluebirds on Sunday, I was surprised there were still a few around. I also saw a monarch and quite a few dragonflies. Them buggers better get moving or they're going to get cold this weekend, with temps getting down into the low 20's.

I haven't ID'd this bird yet, but he was actually rubbing his beak on the limb and I caught it at just the right time.

I'd go with palm warbler on the first image, what a cool pose! Admittedly, I'm not the best with fall warbler id's so skepticism may be appropriate
