Tim_Anderson
Musky fishing has been outstanding despite the nasty weather. In fact, the fish have been suicidal as many chase baits to the boat and stay on it until they catch it. Really fun to witness. Here and there, they are biting out on the cast. Either way, I like it! Water temps are dropping, but they are still chasing big time. Yesterday, my client caught a crazy fish right next to the boat. Upon inspection, you could tell it had a nice sized bass (1-2 pounds) in it's stomach, and it was still feeding aggressively!I just got a cancellation for October 5th and 6th, this coming Monday and Tuesday. These are the two days immediately after the full moon, which is prime time. If you'd like to get out and fish muskies short notice, give me a call @ 218-232-6067.It's fall, and the bite is on. Good luck to all.

Silver Scale
I'd like to Tim but I heard the big sturgeon on the Rainy River are jumping in the boat. Don't even have to put your crawler in the water, just hang it over the boat and they jump right in. Now that is suicidal.....

bronzeback
If I wasn't up in Duluth I would jump all over this. Almost the exact same conditions as my first trip with you, Tim. (This is Zach Hobson, by the way.) Right around the full moon, last week of September. We put 3 fish in the boat the smallest being 44" (and that was Tim's ) I have a buddy that would probably split the cost with me too...I should stop thinking about this or it will be a hard month to put any food on the table. Good luck out there whoever fills this date, or even if you end up just fishing it for fun, I know you'll enjoy it.
riverkid21
I think I know that buddy and I think I know he would split it.
