uppdacreek
Well it appears as if there might be a "clerical" error on my part that could effect the eventual outcome. I am going to lock this one down until I get this cleared up. Stay tuned..... Well as hard as it was to do for me, I had to award the 5th King of the Channels spot to uppdacreek (hard because I hate that I made a mistake). Per the KOTC tiebreaker rules, a tie goes to the person with the biggest fish between the two. In 5th place SteveD and uppdacreek were tied with 157pts each. Tony had the biggest fish so the title rightly goes to him. Congrats Tony!! I truly apologize for the mistake. The way the spreadsheet displays the green, it will only take the top 5 (even if a tie) and then display them alphabetically. I totally missed that one and I feel bad about it. Big tip of the cap to SteveD, he is actually the one that pointed it out to me a while ago, and if that isn't sportsmanship, I don't know what else is. Thanks Steve for your honesty and understanding. If that is not the epitome of deserved honorable mention, I don't know what is. THANK YOU Steve and Darren!!! I have been fighting a horrible cold this week and had not been online to check who even won until this morning. BIG congrats to all who won the title this year!!! I know everyone fished there tails off to get there. Again THANK YOU Steve and Darren. I wouldn't have even noticed if it weren't for you two. I owe you guys a cold one sometime or a trip in my boat to chase some sturgeon. Might as well make it both. Let me know guys. Thanks again and CONGRATS to the winners!! I was pulling out boat lifts and getting ready for the ice to come! I might be up in a couple more weekends and might do some grouse hunting. I usually hit some public in Aitkin. If that interests you let me know. You could tag a long....

Shack
The drive is not that bad. After being out all night on the river, nothing beets a nice, easy drive home. This more so if fish are caught. Skunked you start wondering why in the world right are around Rogers or Anoka. What can kill ya is the gas. When gas was $4.00+ a gallon the other summer that was horrible. Cruising at a good rate (never in traffic) I can get pretty much anywhere in about an hour and 10 minutes.
pureinsanity
I guess thats true. That late at night you do not have to deal with 94 being bumper to bumper from maple grove to rogers. Seems at about 1 oclock pm till 7 or 8 at night its always jammed packed
Gordie
I run the backroads to Henderson mostly and its about hour and 20 mins from the landing to my drive way if I fish in Jordan its about an hour and the no traffic is really nice
