Auger Repair?

Does anyone know the name of the place in Spring Lake Park that does auger repairs? I want to get mine in early and make sure I'm ready to go. Thanks!

Any small engine shop would be able to hook you up. If it's an engine problem, (most ofter the carb) you'd be suprised how easy they are to work on yourself.

The carb on my Jiffy is fine, but the flat cutting plate and the blade is out of kilter. It needs tobe welded back into a horizontal plane.

Thats quite a bit tougher. It may be hard for anyone to fix that. I bet those things need to be tuned perfectly to cut properly. You maybe want to contact the Jiffy people directly. I don't know if you could trust anyone but them to do it right.

I'm a SM guy though, and I know the geometry of those blades is very important. It may be easier to fix a Jiffy though. I suppose you'd have nothing to lose trying to fix it. If it just needs to be re-welded, any welding shop should be able to help you. I don't know how hard it is to find one of those in your area, but is seems like every little town around here has a good welding shop. Good luck!

a new auger assembly will run you about 100 bucks....that will be an easier and safer route to go
