airdriver
I've been out to three different spots the last four days, and I'm cleaning up other peoples trash! At the landings, out on the water, shore, islands. I know every once in a while we all forget a bottle of soda or something, but broken deeks, tarps, etc. We need to clean up after ourselves out there. Please keep it clean, and keep a good name for our sport.
BoxMN
Amen airdriver. Welcome to ice fisherman he11...Just walked the dogs yesterday and picked up tons of stuff. Not from hunters, but your point is spot on. If we want folks to let us hunt their lands, or at least not think us cretins.... let's clean it up. Good for you, thanks! ZEEK1223
I hunted a point on a lake yesterday, and picked up over 30 spent shells, coke cans, coffee cups and cigarette butts. It was disgusting
Musky Buck
cmon fish kid lol, knew someone would say it, anyway, yes please pick up your trash, I own a 1/4 mile stretch off a rural highway and picked up 5 bags of garbage this spring, there were ducks swimming around this stuff in the ditch and part of a totaled out car vs. deer winter collison, back end of my 8 1/2 foot truckbed was full. Very pathetic, public accesses were a mess at times until someone like me or you had to pick it up based on being a decent human being. I think boat dealers should include a trash bin area. Neighbors who rent there house had these guys shooting trap recently, found beer cans, wrappers, chip bags, empty casings, clay pigeons laying everywhere some garbage in the creek but most just blowing through the willows. Too bad the ones doing the most aren't reading this thread not that it would phase people like that, if it;s their own land then it's different, but public or not their problem then they don't care.
