NOT READY TO QUIT TOURNAMENT FISHING FOR THE YEAR???

Due to the lack of tourneys this time of year, I decide to try to throw a few together. I will start with one and see how much interest there is. If there is enough interest, there will be more.

This tournament will be at Coon Lake, Sunday Sept. 27th.

This tournament will be an individual event (fish alone)

The tournament lake will be off limits the whole day before the event.

The tournament hours will be from 7 -1.

The take-off and weigh-in will be at the public landing by the park on the east side.

12"min, 5 five limit

1/2 lb deduction for a dead fish and 1 lb deduction for each min late

All other standard tourney rules will apply.

This tournament will require a $40 entry fee. PAID IN CASH at the landing. NO CASH, NO FISHING!!

Reservations to fish are required, only 15 spots available, reserve your spot by email or phone.

An optional big fish pot will also be collected at the landing. $10 per boat. Paid to the biggest LIVE fish.

All the money collected will be paid back

THIS EVENT IS MEANT TO BE A LOW-KEY, FUN EXCUSE TO KEEP FISHING.

did this tourney go on today? how was the fishing? i wanted to fish it but do to my signifigant other missing a week of work because of the flu i did not have the extra money. just curious how everyone did.

Ya, we were out there today. Few got them good, many not so good.

1st place = 20.19

2nd place = 18.63

3rd place = 13.84

hopefully get another in before it gets to cold, we'll see.....

Who won, Tim? Saw you out there last Sunday. We had a small club deal and it stunk.

Hey Ray, I thought that was you. That Sunday was tough, I jumped around for 4 hr without a bite. Glad that wasn't tourney day for me.

This Sunday, a guy named Aaron won. He also had big fish of 5.62. Two other guys also brought in 5 lbers. Seemed shallow was the way to go that day.
