TR21
On Sunday I was flipping slop on Chisago and actually had a bass come out of the water as the jig was coming down. The jig never hit the water. The bass had to be looking up and I must have thrown it right into it's mouth.
buddha
I don't do much bass fishing but about 20 years ago I was casting a jitterbug againt some cattails and it got caught about 12 to 18 inches above the water. As I was trying to free the lure a bass jumped up and took it, it was my biggest largemouth for a long time, I think close to 20". I have also watched bass hit a pop can and I saw a blackbird disapear once too. Pretty neat to see.
Fever
Sat Late morning early afternoon I may have seen you, not sure. I was working south east part of Steamboat bay working docks up east shore towards the northern part of bay near that narrow road that leads to that island. I don't remember specifically seeing ya but I do remember seeing a couple nice looking bass boats. If I would have known you were in same bay as me I would have looked harder and paid more attention. Alot of recreation out there huh? Nice weather brought everyone out.

Deitz Dittrich
Little bit of another first for me. I was drop shotting out in 16 feet of water on Chisago saturday morning. And I see something orange down about 3 feet. I get my flipping stick and wrap the line from a bobber around the tip and start to pull it in.. I feel pressure and the fight is on.. I ended up hand lining about a 2 lb bass.. released the bass and start to cut the hooks and then the bobber to keep, thinking to myself .. SCORE, not that I use bobbers much, but nice to have anyway.. when I still feel pressure on the line.. end up hand lining the rod and reel still attached as well.. Granted they are not of high quality, but SCORE!!!!
