Week in review!

If you're expecting to see something exciting, you're in for a real disappointment. It's pretty dead around here this time of the year.

I stalked whis deer within 35 feet. When she finished browsing and walked thru the clearing, she noticed me. She huffed and stamped her leg 3 times. This shot is right before she brought her leg down for the third time. It was pretty cool.

Hopefully, next week will be more exciting. At this time of the year, things can only get better.

Love the little turtle! It is starting to get more interesting around here now. The shore birds have been coming back, and I have had wrens, American redstarts, Wilson's warblers, and one I should have spent more time i.d.ing--maybe a female black and white. Lots of new sounds, as well.
