Muskie456
Is anyone else really excited about all the water we have been getting for your food plots. I am fortunate enough to help manage food plots on a 115 acres in northern mn and 135 acres near Wabasha. The growing season up north has been a little cold but plenty of water. The brassica is looking great. The corn is a little short but we are going to get a lot of food out of it. Down near Wabasha the food is exploding. It is really rewarding to see all the hard work compliment your property.
RumRiverRat
I had a 10 acre food plot in WI get wiped out a week ago, the creek in the valley flooded, I had waist deep water in the food plot. The 2800 acres I hunt got between 3.5 and 7 inches of rain.My wife's uncle is happy about the rain, his corn and soybeans will be a bumper crop this year.We have some food plots in the woods on top of ridges that we have counted 50 plus deer in them at twilight. The area I hunt in WI has no limit on antler less deer, we average 4 deer per person usually. Bear55
It might not just be the food plots that benefit from all the rain.http://www.fishingminnesota.com/forum/ubbthreads.php/topics/1933868/Rain_Antler_Growth#Post1933868
