season update...happy i decided to play!! not personally playing the best right now but i know i have a legit shot at a decent spot on the depth chart...2-5ish??out of 7 or 8. i can see a lot of guys moving around during the season as we are all pretty even, so yea!! we are starting out with tons of excitement, man the pouring rain does somethin to get a team goin!! mudbaths haha. heck right when we got done with practice yesterday the tornado sirens went off. anyways, im still sore as HECK!! walking around like im 85 or somethin lol..thanks for all the advice tho from everyone!

yea, well on wed and thurs i started to get a knot in my hamstring and it was tightening up...kept on playiing until 2nd practice yesterday(mon) a coach made me stop due to limping(i was not full speed for over 3 days). well the doc doesnt know what i have but he thinks its a tendon strain with a cyst(that could rupture?). seein a specialist tomorrow. i dont think its gunna be too serious, wearin a brace right now. . just hope im in the field within a week or so for depth chart purposes. well thats my update for now. off too bed so i can sit through practices tomorrow!

well its a strain in my upper right calf, possibly with a traumatic cyst..mri results tomorrow..6 week full recovery, am gunna try to be back in 2 to 3 tho, and just play thru it and hope it doesnt tear!!senior year, it really kills my varsity chance..not gunna pis$ and moan about it tho. i played thru it for 3 days(5 practices) so i know i can tough it out. wish me luck!!!

good news!mri results show a ruptured cyst with not much of a strain..doc says it will start gettin better soon and that there is no timetable, AND that it will heal fully sooner than originally thought...hope to be on the field within a week now!!!! wont ever take this season for granted again, in fact i think this scare might be a good motivator

Ahh yes, never played them in football back in hs cuz we were to small but we sure could handle Anoka in wrestling! I think Anoka was the biggest school district (pupil wise) too in Minnesota 10 years ago. Is the hs still by Anoka-Ramsey tech? 2 a days man I miss those days seems like yesterday I was putting on the helmet and pads back & tackling a few guys back in 2002 ha! Well enjoy it goes by fast, but bright side is once your done your falls open up to lots of opportunity to fish and to hunt!

yea..the high school is a good 7-10 miles from AR..im suprised cuz we are one of the best wrestling programs in the state!!at least 5 state champs, 2 national champs, including an olympian, all in the last 2 years. and yea ya shoulda hollered at me, that was almost for sure me at cub, prolly tryin to switch shifts to work around football lol
