Sarge
What is the texture of the meat like when prepared this way? Seems like it may be abit "mushy"?
fishnutbob
sarge, the trout comes out firm as long as you only boil it 3 to 5 minutes, we did it last winter north of ear falls ont. they cleaned it all up. I want to try the same boil on Northern I think it also would be great. I also did the boil with halibut this summer and it was also very good. Also use a wire basket to boil it so you can get it out before it over cooks.
