Western Wisconsin Musky??

Recommended Posts

The musky fishing on Yellow has steadily gotten worse over the past 12 years or so. Not surprisingly, this also coincides with when they cut the stocking in half. There's still fish to be had. But it's much tougher than it used to be.

Irishwalleye,

Bone, Deer, Wapogasset, Black Brook Flowage, Apple River Flowage, all within 30 minutes of one another. (POLK Cty.)

Bone/Deer are a zoo on weekends.

Cedar Lake (St. CROIX Cty.) near Star Prairie. Will throw a 50" plus from time to time. Gets green early.

(Big)Sand Lake (BARRON Cty.)4 miles west of Cumberland off of Hwy. 48. (Clear water lake)
