luckyworm
What an outing last night by Kevin Slowey! One little texas league blooper cost him two runs. I think he should be considered for the All Star team this year. He is tied for 2nd in the AL with an 8-1 record and he is moving up the era leader board with each start. I could be wrong, but I would not be suprised to see Slowey in the mix for the AL Cy Young award at seasons end.
nofishfisherman
A run at the CY Young would be a little bit of a stretch I think. He'll need to get his ERA down some more for that. Right now no one can touch Greinke so he'll need to fall off significantly and Slowey will have to not only maintain but also improve. It will likely take 20 wins and i just don't see Slowey getting 20 wins with our current bull pen. He could very well get 2-3 no decisions simply becuase the bullpen blows a lead for him. KMR85
Right now he should definately be considered for the All Star team. There is still a month to go and a lot can happen in that time.
zamboni
He better be considered the ace from here on out. Stink Pot Scott doesn't deserve it.
fishingMN4eyes
Cy Young is a stretch at this point, but a month or two from now I hope we are still talking that way. It will be tough, though, with Halladay already at 9 wins on the year in Toronto.
zamboni
And Grienke being lights out in KC. Remember Sloweys ERA is almost 4.00, Grienkes is 1.00. THAT is Cy Young numbers
