Finlander
I have 145,000 miles on my 2000 Silverado and never had the plugs or wires changed.Any heads up on this before I start to change them?
WingDing2
Just did mine in an 03 Silverado at 100,000 just search for the thread here. Alot of info. Just take your time, have the right tools and dont put in cheap plugs use OEM. Pulling the wires off/on was the worst part of the job. Do the job with the engine cold. Plugs will run $60 bucks
jwhjr
I did my 04 last fall and replaced both plugs and wires with OEM. It's a pretty straightforward job, especially with the coil per cylinder so that you don't have to deal with running the wires to a cap. The passenger side plug closest to the firewall is the "trickiest", but even that one is not bad to get out. Good luck!
