Going Fishing

Here I am throwing the last few things in the Pumpkinmobile for 4 days at Lake Carlos, and it is snowing here. I hope things improve, yesterday we had gail force wind all day. Last night it rained buckets!!! Have a good weekend all.

When we were in McGregor the lady at the bait store said snow was predicted for last night. It was in the 70's at the time and we thought she was goofy....guess not!

Back from Lake Carlos-----What a lovely park! And it is an awesome lake even though the weather was pretty miserable and I didn't catch many fish. It got down to 32 Friday and Saturday night. Heavy winds all three days, got really sunburned and I am pretty tuckered out. But as usual I had a great time. Lisa I even taught Tami how to run my boat! Didn't take too many pictures but do we have some interesting tales for the Mille Lacs GTG.......

I let Tami use my boat the whole weekend, come Sunday I think she wanted to take it home with her.

We did catch a few Bass, too bad they don't open till next week.

Char's son Alex with one of his bass, he also had several bite-offs.

And this little fellow surfaced just three feet from the boat....

Barb - Thanks for letting me use the boat, that was very nice of you - it was awesome having a boat all to myself !!!!!

Was a fun weekend, weather was ok - fishing on Sat was also just ok - some bass, a good size pike and brought home a few decent crappies.

The scary thing is that Tami really looks good driving the ole green monster. Now if only I had remembered to put the boat plug in before we launched her.
