2001 Dodge Ram 1500 Full Size

I have a 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 PK body style, with a standard cab and an 8 foot box....I'm looking to get a drop in bedliner for it.

Everywhere I call, they say that they have an over the rail, drop in bed liner for a 2001 Ram T300 with an 8 foot box. Whats the difference if they are both 8 foot boxes?

probably nothing,over the rail means it will cover the top of the box sides

Thanks for the reply Scott. I know what the over the rail is, I have 3 of them on my other trucks, but when searching for an 8 foot liner for the 2001 Ram 1500, they don't show anything other then a T-300 8 footer and it had the guys at several auto parts stores baffled?

I would think they are the same also, but not sure at all.

The thing I would do is go down and see if it fits If it does not, they can look into it further for you. If ordering on-line, I would call the 1-800 and talk with them and they should know. You could try calling a dealer, but the chances of the parts department knowing are slim. Another

option would be to call around to custom automotive shop and ask.

Believe me Shack, I have been shaking the bushes! The thing is, no one has bedliners on hand, you have to special order them and have them delivered...I want to get it right the first time, since you pay for them in advance. I think I may have come across something today?

I would find out the name and call the manufacture direct to find out then. Get the name and do a google search with the name then "customer service" and "1-800" in the search. Call them and if they do not know or can find out, call around to some dealers an ask for the accessories manager. This would be the guy or gal who is in charge of selling rust proof's, visors, aftermarket add on and rims. Ask them to find out for you in a way it looks like you are going to buy it from them.

Somebody has to know.

I never heard of a T300 Ram, but and 8 ft box from 1994 to 2001 is same for all 3 pickup models 1500/2500/3500

They changed style in 2002 for the 1500 and 2003 for 2500/3500
