Hwood
Thanks all. I had some fun sneaking up on these guys during each dive.
ShawnZ
I'm very impressed. This is not an easy species to "sneak" up on. Also curious about where around the area that you were able to get so close? Great images.
Hwood
Thanks Shawn. Up the shore a bit at Stoney Point. Cool spot just to hang out if nothing else. Let me know if your not sure where that is. When I first saw them they were by the area of all flat rock and they saw me right off and moved down. I got back up on the road and ran down ahead of them and watched for a bit from the trees. They would dive for an average of 10 seconds so during each dive I moved making sure I was down behind a rock by the count of ten. (good thing it was not to a count of 15, I would of had to take a boot off and expose some toes) In the area they stayed for sometime had rather large rocks and I ended up agaist a big one on the waters edge. They seemed to favor this spot you may just find them there.
