bisekb
I have a 1969 5.5hp evinrude fisherman motor and its been the best duck hunting motor ever, but the recoil has gone bad. the metal coil that retracts the chord has broke, and i dont know where to get parts or who fixes these. Do any of you guys know where i could find parts for this motor, or who fixes them in the south metro area?

marine_man
Have you checked with a dealer? I would suspect they'd be able to order that part yet. Take your model number and serial number with and they should be able to look it up and order it.marine_man
