I went to that Friday night game, it was an awesome atmosphere. It heated up after that Tootoo guy took the cheap shot on Fritche. John Scott kept trying to get after him but never got a chance, the refs kept breaking it up before they got going. Could tell Tootoo loved the heat though he was egging us on. Then I think it was Zidlicky or Johnnson who took Tootoo out later in the 2nd period that was awesome.

My question: is there some sort of code or anything about when the fighting is allowed? To me seemed like, hey let Scott and Tootoo go at it but the refs never allowed it. Is it just the refs or are there times they will tell the guys not now? Know what I mean?

no kidding, everytime he was on the ice, Scott went out there and would make a push towards him, he would dump the puck and turn away to avoid him. Clutterbuck had him lined up, came off the bench straight across rink at him, he must have seen him coming passed the puck and Cal let off on the hit, but whoever that was for us definately got him back because it was away from the play and boareded him good
