micpic
While sitting in a fenceline looking for deer, a family of Flicker's landed close to me. By mocking their calls, I had them interested for quite awhile. At least until the six pointer came out to eat beans. Mike
Birdsong
Pretty, pretty background. And birds, too.
ShawnZ
Fascinating, was there a food source nearby that they were interested in also? Or were they more or less interested in your calling? What call(s) did you use? The second image is excellent.
finnbay
Great shots! Did you slip these guys a mickey? I can't get them to sit still long enough for a shot!
micpic
Thanks for comment's. These appeared to be young Flicker's and I was probably the first human they had seen. I mimicked the call they sometimes make that sounds like wee-pah wee-pah wee-pah. I haven'nt got the jungle call they make down yet and probably never will.Mike
