chuckwagon
Where can I get my bow set up for fishing? Will Cabela's or Gander Mnt. have what I need or is there a better place to go, I live in the west metro!
BuckKiller
cabela's, gander, cabin fever... pretty much anywhere that sells bows will sell bow fishing equipment.happy huntin'
King_Fisher
There's a archery shop on HWY 81 in Osseo that could set you up.
Morneau132
It's pretty easy to set up yourself... Just get the AMS Retriever from Cabela's or Fleet Farm or something similar. I would suggest finding an older $50 bow from [YouNeedAuthorization] or [YouNeedAuthorization] though, You will prolly regret using your "good" bow for bowfishing. Then you dont have to mess with your set-up on your "good" bow
chuckwagon
Ok thanks guys ... I have got older darton bow like an 01 I. I bought it from a buddy that I use for hunting. Would I be best off just buying a bow fishing only package rather than bolting on a reel to my darton?
Rock Finder
If you want to save money you can bolt a reel on your bow. If anyone that you go with has a AMS retriever you will end up spending the money and buying one also. It all depends on how much you want to spend. There are three of us that go out together and all use the old wrap around reels and one day one guy shows up with a AMS retriever, well by the next weekend we all had retrievers.
