Nice one 2dog. Where'd you sneak up on Mr. Muskrat? I grew up and lived in Forks many years.

Nice eared/horned grebe in your avatar, too. Haven't seen one of those posted here in awhile.

I took both shots of the muskrat and the grebe at Kelly's Slough. A little bit of everything either flying or swimming out there. So would this be a horned grebe?

Yes sir! That is a Horned Grebe- Podiceps auritus.

Nice shot of the horned grebe, 2dog. I spent many a long hour out at Kelly's Slough. Great spot for lots of things.
