vern Posted April 28, 2009 Share Posted April 28, 2009 We've had many loons on the Minneapolis lakes for over two weeks now. They're becoming very common on Harriet & Calhoun in the Spring & Fall. The water quality has improved on these lakes & the birds have started showing up. For some reason I never hear the loon calls though. I've also seen bald eagles & swans using the lakes recently!
