Anyone know if the new chip that is scheduled to be released on MAy 1st is only for the Lowrance units or will they release both Lowrance and Garmin?

I went to lakemasters web site to check out the list of new lakes and found there are only two new ones and one old one in hi definition that I fish often on the new chip. If you live or fish in Ramsey or Becker countys you got it made because that is where most of the new and updated lake maps are located. I for one will be keeping my 08 chip and wont be buying the new one this year.

Yes, Garmin will be releaseing new LakeMaster data cards, and cd's very soon.

Am planning on getting either a LakeMaster or Navionics Hd chip

(09's). Looking for help to decide. E-mailed Nav. to see if the '09 included the NW Angle on Laake of the Woods, but received no reply.
