changing plugs

I have a 98 artic cat 400, how hard is it to change the plugs? do i have to take off the tank to get to them?

Eyemaster, I'm not familiar with a 98, but I have a 2005 400 which only has one cylinder. I just take the seat off and pull the plastic panel on the left side right below the seat. I think on my machine there are only a couple of screws to remove.
