Do any of you mushroom experts know what this is? Found in lowlands, near a marsh. The only color in the woods here.

It could be scarlet cup (Sarcoscypha austriaca).

Looks quite close to the renderings in my guide, and they start emerging in early April. They grow on rotting branches/wood buried in leaf litter in northern hardwood forests.
