Eagle flight shots

A bit wind this morning made it easier for me to take photo shots at this young eagle gliding against the wind.

Notice how he "braked" midflight, wish he was in front of me when he did that! He was right over my head at that moment.

Goods ones Marc! You're fortunate that eagle didn't unload something on you , it's really straining!

Very nice, Marc, it was nice meeting you yesterday at Buck's Lake. After you left I got some shots, although not as good as yours. I think I need a 400 mm lens!

Sorry for not responding earlier. Was away working on a project in Janesville for the weekend.

Thanks for the kind words! Drove by on the usual road to work, by Buck's Lake, sure enought there are 11 eagles there now. Didn't want to get my camera out in the pouring rain!

Gclark - It was great to meet you! I wished I could have stayed longer to chat with you come more, but I had to get back to work. You planning on coming back to the lake anytime soon? Could meet you there?

Thanks for the info,Marc. I'd like to get down there again soon, but with the weather, going to Florida and a possible Rainy River fishing trip, I'm not sure when I can make it.
