Trout Fishing in Rivers

Does anyone know if you can keep brown trout that you catch in rivers, or is it catch and realese right now???????????

Haven't been out yet but I plan on hitting the redwood river in sw mn by marshal

not a positive but, most likely if its designated trout stream, its probably catch and release, barbless, and no live bait. Just a educated geuss. better safe than sorry

All stream trout are C&R until the general opener in mid April. There are only limited streams open right now for angling, and those are all in SEMN. The streams in SWMN are not open for angling yet. Here is a link to the DNR.
