Anyone Else Dreamin?

Last week I had a dream I was chasin Flatties on the Minnesota, great dream, really detailed and realistic... except for when you can't even catch one in your DREAM, it gets a little sad. lol

Ok I'll admit, I've spent a good amount of time in the boat as of lately (still in storage). There's nothing better than getting the boat all ready for springtime and daydreaming about all the good times spent in it. Yeah, I'm ready for Open Water.

winter is KILLING me!!! I've spent ENOUGH time on the ice.. all i think about is the peaceful river, trapping minners, seining bullheads, fishin lakes and 80 degree days.

no kidding i've waiting to get out on the river i even sat in the boat the other day and started making more mods and had it running in the trash can but it only made it worse plus i'll be in Oklahoma for first day of KOTC with no way to go fishing

and thats more like a dream cause i'll be ready to hit the water hard when i get back

Will anyone even be targeting Flatheads on April 1st? I will probably just mess around and fish with nightcrawlers throughout April and when May gets here I'll target Flats.

The water temps by April will probably only be around 40-45 degrees. I suppose I will still try though since I also cannot wait much longer.

Its all dependent on Rains and air temps. You would be surprised how a BIG warm rain can raise the temp in the river. Same goes for the steady warmth in spring.

I definitely believe it and it's supposed to rain often pretty soon here we will just have to see if the temps will consistently stay above 45-50 degrees.

I'm really not even planning on hitting the river until about mid April. Next week looks pretty cool, and hopefully after that the temps will start to come around.
