croixflats
Thought I would open a discussion on the type of craft to maneuver amongst our rivers and shallow waters rather than the tried and true canoe. Thats not me. Mine was bigger and I am uglier. I bring this up because I am impressed with the capabilities this boat can offer to our region. This style of boat has become popular with guides amongst the the region but I have not seen talk amongst the the people that may have benefit from this craft. Ralph Wiggum
I've seen a fair number of these on the Mississippi in the Monticello-Elk River-Otsego stretch. Looks like they work very well.
Trouthunter
looks like my boat I have this exact same boat - works very well in moving water, not so well in non moving water, powered by a 2 stroke motor (haha) Used to spend a bunch of time out west, now I dont, but still have the boat! croixflats
They are sweet in moving water. They have come a long way. They even have a modular system for the inside so you can switch out components as one sees fit. I,m thinking of getting one for the upper part of the St.Croix. They are spendy buggers. I used them out in Montana when I go visit my brother.
