chattering teeth?

We have a 1yr old female lab who seems to be acting a little funny, she chatters her teeth like she's cold but can't be cuz she's pretty much an indoor dog. I think it's kinda funny but my wife thinks we need to call a vet. Anyone see this before or do we just have a freak?

Both my male labs do it whenever they are sniffing private areas (of other dogs), toilets, or areas where females dogs have relieved themselves.

Mine do the exact same thing, when the female is in heat, bad taste, kinda grose thinking of it I know I wasn't going to post it for embarassment reasons but since you were braver than me OH well, Your dog may be in her first heat cycle and this may stop after she is out of it and quits cleaning her self so much.

It took me a couple years to make the connection, but my English Setter does the same thing when she is in heat. I thought it was a bit peculiar, but from reading this post it sounds likes it's not uncommon.
