A couple things about fishing in a snowstorm, if you walked out it will be a lot tougher walk back with all the new snow. And if you are way out it helps to have GPS because sometimes you can't see the shoreline. Too much fun to risist though.

I agree with the gps. One time out on upper red we got caught in the snow and wind. It was like my second time up there. Had no clue which way was North South or even up. You couldn't see nothing but white snow. Luckily I marked the bar with a beer mug on my gps and we found the road out but if I didn't have it??? who knows where we'd ended up. We did pretty good for crappies that time. smile
