trailer light on boat?

so the brake light and blinker work on my back right trailer light but the running light doesnt. is it a seperate bulb for the running light or do i have a problem somewhere else?

Its probably all the same bulb but there is two elements in it, the blinker and brake share one and running is on the other.

I would start there, could it be a grounding issue. I've hand some funky things go on with with my lights that turned out to be a ground issue.

Put a jumper cable on the frame of the tow vehicle and the other end to the trailer. If your lights work its a ground issue. If this is a tilt trailer you'll want that clamp on the trailer bed somewhere. Check the ground connection on the trailer. If its a tilt trailer you should attach a ground strap from the tongue to the bed at the tilt location.

if all the other lites work on the trailer it is a bulb problem or a wire problem to that side of the trailer its the bulb if your side marker lite works in that tale lite assembly

so i finally got out and took a look at the light. pulled the bulbs and wires out of the casing and turns out the brown wire that runs from the small bulb to the big bulb wasnt connected to the big bulb. it had been torn off. i think im just going to replace the whole light on that side since the plastic base which connects to the trailer is slightly cracked and loose anyways.
