My new computer does not have a printer port, nor do I want to install one since this is old tech.

However, my HP 722C printer uses the printer port. I bought an adapter to go from LPT (DB25 connector) to USB, but the install disk for the printer only searches for an available LPT printer port.

Is there a way to install this printer on my new computer using this adapter?
