Me and my family are at a seasonal site now, pretty nice, but not alot of kid stuff. Its an older crowd, is this normal? Anyone just love their place, that is geared more to the younger generation? Looking for somewhere within 1.5 hr of princeton, $2000 and under, lake. Thanks in advance.

our seasonal doesnt have a lot of kid stuff either. a swimming beach and a few swings at the beach. they did talk about getting on of those playground type things but that remains to be seen. the crowd is mixed but they are kind of each in there own area as far as age groups.

I'm at one in Mora. Has a pool, boat docks, playground. Was a lot of older folks but now the younger families are moving in. New owners last couple years. Well kept, well managed but strict with the rules. Always get a good nights sleep. Security gate, charges for visitors all the usual other stuff. South side of Fish Lake not the one with the bar.

Sounds like we are neighbors in the summer time!! lol We really like the place too, very well kept, quiet, just doesnt seem to be alot of kids running around. Hard to keep our 3 & 5 yr old girls entertained all weekend. But their were a few empty sites at the end this season, maybee some folks with little ones like ours will move in?? See ya may 1st...

2 years ago we looked all around because we also had a hard time keeping the kids entertained so we ended up selling our camper. Now the kids 4 and 9 keep asking when we are going to buy a new camper so we can get a seasonal again. Told them we are not ready to hear all the complaining about there not being any kids around to play with. Last year we took the kids tent camping and they loved it, so this year Santa brought us a lager tent so we can have more room to play games if we get rained on.

I second the Pathfinder Village place. I bought a place there over 2 years ago. There is so much to do your kids will never want to go home. Pool, tennis courts, drive in movies on fri and sat, roller skating on fri, basketball courts, etc. Always stuff to do.

The site we have been at for seven years now started out with 90% of the people being older (60-80). We where the first to pull in with kids. It was wierd at first but as we got to know the people they really liked having the kids around. That being said the campground has limited kids stuff but we like to spend out time out in the boat.
