mudslinger
I just replaced a drive shaft bearing and speedo key on a 99 Arctic Cat zr600efi. When i put the drive clutch back on and tightened everything up the drive clutch can slide in and out on the jack shaft just a bit. About the flat distance of a washer. Is this normal? I put everything back on in order and with the same washers. It just seems like it should be tight. Thanks for your input.
Surface Tension
A little end play is fine.
tonkapat
that would be the driven or secondary clutch and play is normal.

Black_Bay
Yes it needs to move a bit. That way the belt can self center a bit especially since the primary clutch is moving due to engine torque. If it was tight you'd blow belts quite often.
