Smellson
Ive got an old yar-craft fiberglass boat that that has a pretty scratched up keel. Im looking for advice on a cheaper alternative to a manufactured keel guard. I heard somewhere about a 3m product called safety walk? Its supposed to be used in pools on steps from what I remember. Anyways, has anyone heard of this or know of a particular product I could use? Just cant quite justify $170+ for a plexible piece of plastic ......yet! TonkaBass
Maybe it doesn't seem all that logical to spend so much on a keel guard, but I assure you it would be a wise choice to go with a good brand and have installed. The consequences of having a makeshift keelguard that may fail are well worth the initial cost of installing a quality product, just my opinion. hhguide
I think if its a true keel gaurd to dont they have a lifetime warranty or something like that? I might be wrong but just wondering.
