Did they move the minnesota muskie expo?? Last year I thought it was in feurary, i heard its in april now??

Hiya -

Yeah it is moved, in both senses of the word.

The dates are now April 3-5, and it will be held at Concordia University just off 94 in St. Paul. They resurfaced the arena at the Sports Center in Blaine, so it couldn't be held there anymore apparently.

One other change - the show's name, officially, is George's Minnesota Muskie Expo, in honor of the show's founder George Wahl, who passed away late last year. Personally, I think it's a great tribute - the show meant a lot to George, and many of us in the industry have called it "George's show" for years...

Sure is going to be odd not having George walking around asking how things are going? He is really going to be missed at the show.

I look forward to the show all year long, the new baits, the custom baits, sweet! Last year I had to work that weekend and didn't get to make it down. So the extra time is taking a toll.

No Extreme expo this year, their HSOforum just says "no shows planned at this time" I've never been to that show but I know that it was quite a bit smaller.

I hope with the economy the way it is, all the usaul exibitors will be there.

Ch 54 has a booth but I may not make it that's the Trout Blow Out weekend for me unfortunately , it will be weird without George...
