Frabill Predator vs Fish Trap X2

I am looking at purchasing a protable 2-man and have it narrowed down to the Frabill Predator vs the Fish Trap X2. In comparison, here is what I think:

1) Predator is $100 cheaper

2) Predator has a larger tub

3) Predator has more headroom

4) X2 has more fabric, will close off wind better

5) X2 has a lighter roof, lets in light

6) X2 seems a little smoother to collapse

7) X2 packs up a little smaller overall

8) X2 can hook up to another one if desired

9) Both are about 140 lb

I think they will both be nice. Anyone have any experience they would like to share - positives, negatives?

Mike

compared both and went with the frabil. didn't see were it was worth 100 more bucks for an x2. also love the large tube room for all you want to bring. as far as closing off wind the pred does that very well.

The Frabill Predator is hard to beat. Hard to find too. They are mostly sold out for the season.

If you act fast, there is a new reduced price on X-2's at G Mtn....and they toss in a $100 gift card. That's Crazy cheap, pays for the cover and hitch and then some at the new price and the card deal. wink

Just find a GM store, get one before they all go. The $100 card is a limited deal on the X-2 only, act quick.

IF..there is any X-4's in stock in that store, you may swing the same deal as the X-2 with the manager...worth a shot anyway. They will not ship or transfer any shacks now that clearance pricing is in effect, unless you pay the shipping.
