otto_man
Kind of has a nice ring to it?! Capers will bring the 3-4 D and that's what Peppers wants to play! It will be just like signing Reggie a few years back,,,, all good...
fishinphilth
We got high hopes! I could type the whole song, but then I would be annoying, just like packer fans.
CrappiesNCats
in order to run a 3-4 you need a big dominant NT. the pack don't have one. they are also about 3 decent linebackers short of the "4" and thats probably giving Barnett too much credit. CrappiesNCats
AP's career stats against 3-4 defenses:42 carries, 359 yards, 4 TD's, 8.5 yards per carry.Anybody else real excited about the Packers switching to a 3-4 defense?
FasterThanYou23
But 296 of those yards were one game.lol
Scott M
Copycat league, everybody's going with the repackaged latest thing. West coast offense, wildcat offense, zone blitz, Tampa 2, the list goes on and on. I'm not criticizing GB, it's not a bad strategy since you don't see it very often. I just think it takes their best defensive player out of the picture (Kampman) and takes a team that is ready to compete now and forces them to change things up. Will it fit personnel wise? I don't know. Dom Capers knows more about football defense than I do so we will see. Can't be afraid of change I guess.Speaking of coaching, I am happy to see the Vikings special teams coach is gone...Can you believe the Rams hired Ferraro as LB coach? Good luck with that St. Louis. Driftless
The way Thompson showed a future hall of fame quarterback the door....Was very classless NO good free agents will want to work for a tyrant as a GM.
jigging-matt
The way Farve handles his attention getting "I'm going to retire again this season, maybe", season after season is classless.

Good points da_chise, pretty much how I feel. Maybe they feel Kampman has the speed to play linebacker. They've used him in pass coverage in the past on zone blitzes so I guess we'll find out. Wade Joseph
I am excited to have Capers as D co-ord. Hey, not like we were dominating with the 4-3. I'm gonna be optomistic because its dom capers, not biff johnson or some other unknown.
